Meet one of our newest RGK Pros, Michael. Michael hails from USA and currently plays for Baltimore Blast.
Here's what Michael had to say about Renegade GK when we sat down to chat about adding him to our Pro Team!

A: Light workout in the morning, a cup of coffee before the game
Once we’ve all loosened up a bit we dig into the journey that led Michael to our brand. At Renegade GK we enjoy getting to know our team members, the challenges they’ve faced, the obstacles they’ve overcome. Q: Why did you want to be sponsored by Renegade GK?
A: I realize the need for a glove sponsor to be able to bring awareness to an affordable, quality brand of gloves to young goalkeepers and pro's like myself.
Q: Give us a bit of background around your playing history.
A: I was a goalkeeper at Clemson University from 2014-2017, graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering. The joined the Baltimore Blast of the MASL for the 2018-2019 season for my first year of professional soccer. Played NPSL with FC Baltimore during the summer of 2019. Just resigned a two year contract with the Baltimore Blast, and intend to play again with FC Baltimore next summer.
Q: Do you have a favorite quote or inspirational saying that gets you through hard times in net?

Q: What are your dreams as a goalkeeper?
A: Live every day as if it’s a gift, inspire the next generation not just to be better players, but better people.
Q: What’s one thing about goalkeeping you wish you knew when you started?
A: How crucial being able to play out of the back would be as you get to higher levels.
Q: Let’s get vulnerable, don’t worry we won’t share this with next Saturday’s opponent. One thing you struggle with in goal today?
A: Staying in the moment, not overthinking
Q: Describe the best save you’ve ever made?
A: At Clemson, penalty kick save in the ACC tournament to beat Syracuse and advance
