Negative Cut

The Negative cut glove tends to be a favorite of goalkeepers at all levels, males, and females. Keepers who enjoy this cut often say they can "feel" the ball better on their fingers due to the fact that the stitching is actually on the inside of the glove as opposed to the traditional outside. This stitching method creates a glove that is a bit snugger on the hand which is ideal for those with narrower hands. We have also seen an increase in goalies wearing a negative glove during wet conditions due to the fact that the negative cut allows for less space between the hand, glove, and ball increasing a keepers handling.
